NEW FRAME
The CRF450R chassis is over a pound and a half lighter
than the previous generation’s. This year approximately
70 percent of the frame components are new for
excellent, responsive turning performance and to work
with the new suspension.
HYDRAULIC CLUTCH
With the CRF450R’s hydraulically actuated clutch,
you get a clutch-lever pull that’s ten percent lighter at its
peak, and more consistent throughout an entire moto.
Plus, you’ll never have to worry about making a cable
adjustment, even during the longest events.
NEW AIRBOX AND FILTER
Refinements in both the airbox and air filter improve
throttle control and feel. You access the airbox through
the left number plate, and because there’s no rubber
gasket at the intake boot, cleaning and servicing the
filter is faster and less messy than ever.
EXCLUSIVE WORKS EDITION
The CRF450RWE Works Edition includes all the
standard CRF450R features, but also gets a special
hand-ported cylinder head; Hinson clutch basket and
